Fund Development & Public Relations Director

Sue Barker was raised and educated in Ogden and completed a BA degree at Weber State University. She taught school in Kenya, East Africa, and also worked for the U.S. Government at Hill Air Force Base, the American Red Cross, and Union Station. Working as the Fund Development/Public Relations Director at EnableUtah for 26 years, she retired in 2014. She returned to EnableUtah in 2021 after a seven-year “trial retirement”. She is a member of Ogden Rotary and the National Exchange Clubs. Sue is committed to improving the lives and opportunities of people with disabilities. Her hobbies include fabric arts, reading, and spending time with her three sons and their families.
